Excellent Stay, But Mattress Very Frim

I stayed here twice, both times in the boys dorm. Once just as an overnight after arriving in Taiwan and the 2nd time for 3 nights in C03. The hostel is close to exit M8 of Taipei Main Station metro station, and below ground level. The reception is quite organised and check-in was easy, only needing my passport. The reception area also has two common areas. One part looks very homely with lots of modern and tasteful decorations. The other par has a more relaxed cafe type feels suitable for working on a laptop. Access to the guest area is through automated doors with a swipe card. Once inside, there’s separate boys and girls dorms. The boys' dorms are arranged capsule style. AFAICK there’s no lockers provided and I had to keep my bag in the capsule. No problem as it was large enough to have a shelf in the rear with enough space to put my medium sized backpack. The mattress is thick, firm and comfortable. Array against the wall is a shelf, which could be used as a table and I was able to use it for working on my laptop. There were 3 personal lights, depending on how bright you wanted the capsule to be. There’s also two electrical sockets and two USB ports.Although the dorm itself is at a comfortable temperature, the circulation in the capsule is poor. The AC in the capsule isn’t powerful enough IMHO and I woke up a couple of nights feeling hot. The privacy curtain is annoying to operate. The guest area also has a kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, utensils, free coffee and snacks. There’s a dining table for 8, but also some other sitting areas dotted around. There are separate bathrooms and toilets for boys and girls. These were alway clean. The boys shower room can get warm, but not so much that you come out of the showers sweating.Liquid soap and shampoo are also provided. Overall, I had a good stay. The facilities are above par, clean and comfortable. The capsule temperature was higher than I prefer, but I’m Scottish. The location is perfect for access to several of the metro lines as well as trains for both airports.

I am not a hostel person, but I was arriving in Taipei at 2am and wanted to save money so I booked this place for one night before checking into my actual hotel for my trip to Taipei. I chose this hostel because it offered 24 hour check in, and the staff was very helpful with me when I arrived, explaining all of the facilities and amenities. I did have one issue though. The elevator was closed when I arrived because it led to another building, which was closed for the night, so take that into account when planning your arrival. There are no lockers for your suitcases, but the staff will secure them in a locked room for you, and you can take your personal items with you to your bed. As for the beds, I was very happy to see that they weren’t in a deep pod style, and were instead situated horizontally so I had a lot space to move around and enter my bed. The bathrooms were good, but the ground in the shower was not sloped enough to get rid of all the water. Other than that the bathrooms were nice, and the shower stall itself had a good amount of space to store your things while you showered.

It is a 5-star experience for staying in this hybrid of capsule / hostel-like boutique accommodation. The location is perfect which is certainly about a few min. walk from one of the most centered stations in the city - Taipei Main Station. I stayed in capsule which is much more spacious that I had experienced in the origin of the type of accommodation - Japan. The pantry area, bath area, toilet space is absolutely clean. Cleaning alcohol and body care products are provided in every toilet and shower petitions respectively. There is luggage storage space inside the capsule area and it is large enough everyone who has a standard size checked baggage. Staff is available 24 hours so there is no problem for late check in. There are plenty of space for hanging around if you don't want to stay in your capsule and would like to have a chat and tea time with someone. Individual plug and USB charging is available. Water dispenser and coffee machine are provided. All in all, it is an exceptional place for everyone who look for a stay that fulfils ALL your basic needs. I definitely would return to this place.

This is by far the most excellent capsule hotel I've ever stayed. They provided more than what I have expected in a capsule hotel. The bathroom is the best with super complete amenities and toiletries (shampoo, body wash, Mouthwash, Cotton Buds, Facial Cleanser, Dental floss, Liner, Blower). The kitchen is well equipped with unli supply of coffee Americano, various tea bags, candies, biscuits. There's also a washing machine and dryer. The capsule room is very spacious it's almost a studio size unit. I love that there's a big cabinet inside with a lock activated by the keycard so your things are really secured and safe. There's also a table enough space for laptop and other small stuffs. The bed and comforter are very comfortable. The staffs are very accommodating and hardworking on how they make sure the facilities are clean. I also appreciate that they offer safekeeping of luggages overnight for a cheap price compared to the locker rentals outside. I left my luggage for 2 nights for 50NTD per night since I need to go to Taichung and will also go back and stay again with them. But it's free if you'll leave it for just a few hours only provided it's not outside their office hours. I will stay here again when I come back in Taiwan and will also recommend.

My first hostel experience. One flight of stairs down. Friendly front desk ladies. Waited for me till my arrival post 10pm. Small face towel inclusive in price. Bed and capsule space comfortable and clean. Two cosy common area but a little dark. Water dispensers are located in both common area. Recommended to bring own mug. Ladies bathroom and toilet spacious and has ample cubicles and very clean. Shampoo, body foam, cotton bud and mouth wash available. Family mart just right beside which is so helpful for my late arrival and early departure. Also a police is on duty just at the next building. Overall recommended. Ps: Its actually just opposite the Taipei railway station but google map took me one big round 😂 9/10
